I’m not sure, guess it depends on the drug. If it’s a drug that causes extensive bodily damage, then there’s good reason for it to be banned. But the fact that drugs like cannabis are illegal in certain countries is just dumb. Here in the UK it’s legal, but I know in some parts of the US it’s against the law. I mean come on, it’s not like it’s killing anyone. If you’re gonna make marijuana illegal, you might as well ban alcohol too. After all, alcohol has much worse effects on the body than many drugs.
That’s what I’ve often thought anyway. It just seems the law lacks some common sense sometimes. I mean, if drugs are illegal for being dangerous, then why aren’t guns?
